The easiest way would be subscribing to the communities you want and then using the subscribed feed instead of the all feed

Some frontends (mostly the apps) have filters you can use to filter content but the main frontend doesn't currently apart from blocking the communities

An alternate thing to do could be to use the local feed in the instance that primarily has the content you want. Isnt doable for all types of content since not everything has a topic based instance for it and would require having a new account if you want to interact but theres things such as mander.xyz for science, programming.dev for programming/hardware/etc. topics, etc.

Theres been a bunch of activity and people joining in in the dev matrix already

Backend pretty much already has parity and the frontend is currently the main thing that an updated demo is waiting on but should be ready really soon

I've been designing an updated home page recently for it that I'll be pushing out this week that looks miles better than lemmy-ui since I could do everything from scratch and thus quickly

Java spring for backend, Go for federation, Next.js for frontend

demo.sublinks.org has the backend with the lemmy-ui frontend to show api compatibility

Task list and progress is public on the github org https://github.com/orgs/sublinks/projects/1

Matrix space where all the devs talk is also public and you can see progress talked about in them

In terms of new tech stack currently theres sublinks being made by devs/admins of a bunch of instances (discuss.online, lemmy.world, programming.dev, etc.)

Yeah both lemmy.world and us have the same alternate frontends at the same subdomains (apart from voyager in which they went for m for mobile and we did v for voyager)

Links for all four of them

sh.itjust.works removed it locally for their instance hence why you dont see it. Hasnt been removed in the source instance though yet so instances that didnt remove it locally still have it

Reports are typically fine. Theres a couple issues with 0.18 but the amount of people reporting would make up for that. Removed it locally from my instance since some reports came to me fine

I assume it will be snapped soon by lemm.ee or world but its around midnight in the US right now and early morning in europe

Theres a link to the community for it in the comment above. Basically will be primarily about making and guessing passwords (but also have some idle game stuff in there as well but no spoilers until I start testing which might be today edit: auths taking longer, testing this week)

I assume that's referring to the clues? They'll be randomly generated based on instance info I pull in

mostly different forms of edm for the 5 tracks there

  • nichibotsu - edm, chiptune
  • ba-da-ba - electronic, hip-hop
  • re:run - speedrun (drum and bass)
  • bring the madness noisestorm remix - breakbeat, edm
  • apocalypse - edm, chiptune

the majority of things I listen to are indie game soundtracks
