Would Caesar dressing count as a pâté or would I just have to have the anchovy paste alone? 🤔

I've never tried anchovy pase, and pairing it with dressing is something I'd never have considered. I might have to give it a go!

Does peanut butter count? I eat it on carrots, dip dark chocolate bars into it, sometimes just scoop it with a spoon. Yum.

Only time I have paté is on a bánh mì

Really? That sounds great, I love a bahn mi, but I've only had them with filleted pork or chicken. This is exactly why I asked, I love all the different ways of using such niche ingredients.

That makes sense, given the French influence in Vietnamese cuisine. There's a large Vietnamese expat population where I live, I'll have to try it out. Can't wait!

It’s actually the primary way to eat banh mi from my experience when i was in Vietnam for 4ish months
