Are games just getting more and more boring lately like everything is so uninspired and older games are just as bad now like is there any entertainment media that's even entertaining anymore or are they just made to make you look at ads and product placement and loot boxes

Sounds like you should play more titles that aren't AAA- lots of fun and innovation going on in the indie scene right now.

No. The games are more fun. There's so much variety available: A lot more games that you won't like but a lot more games that you will like, too, you just have to find them.

I don't like lootbox shovelware, either, but you know what? I just don't play those games. I play other ones, new and old, that I actually like. So can you.

You're just jaded. It doesn't feels as exciting as before, but i still like seeing interesting game released, even if they're uninspired.

Yes. Companies seem to spend more money on marketing than they do on development.
