Adding additional financial hurdles on people with disabilities is, in the least aggressive phrasing, "not a vibe".
In turbocapitalist circles, we prefer to describe this as a "strong economic incentive to become unshackled from your disabilities", but I guess it's a question of optimism
And if I pay I still dont own it, that's the messed up part. I get what you're saying though and I appreciate your concern, however I've been using the bootleg software for years on my other phone without any problems so it should be possible.
Replying again to say: that actually makes sense. You should have said that upfront! Suddenly being locked out of critical software is definitely a risk worth considering
