You're not. Some opeople are overreacting big time. "change is bad". This ux change is so minor compared to what some other places have done in the past...

Like always the vocal few are making are making a mole hill into a mountain again.

No it's not overreacting. The UI is extremely confusing if you're mainly using Discord desktop or tablet. Especially on foldable devices, it has become very buggy when switching UI because of 2 different designs and UX. Believe it or not, but most people use Discord are for Servers, not for DM. Discord best features is the distinction between personal hub and server. That is also the reason why Facebook separate Message into their own app. If you're using DM a lot then of course you wouldn't see the problem. Also, people buy Nitro are for servers, not for dm.

I'm fine with the update btw. But I understand why people aren't happy instead of being bias only toward my experiences.
