You wouldn't know if any of American teams are world class or not, there's no promotion it relegation in their leagues, you could put together the best team ever but never win the Superbowl, as there's no way to get promoted into it.
True. Reminds me of a Pep Guardiola quote: "It's not really sport if you can't lose." when he was asked about his opinions on there being no demotion/promotion in the then-proposed European Super League.
Well, the Super League was an attempt to bring that model over here. It felt to me like lots of foreign investors put money into top flight European teams without understanding they could have a bad season and their investment may drop in value so they needed to protect them.
What, does every team have a chance to get in the super bowl.
