It's really only the posts that are like: "I just cannot support genocide joe! If you vote for him you want to eat Palestinian babies!" that get this reaction.

No, that is quite the normal take. I've seen the users you're talking about and people like return2ozma always get downvoted because they say shit like "We need a new candidate right now! We cannot go through with the election of Genocide Joe!" When that will obviously just allow Trump to build his throne. Besides, that is the general consensus in real life anyway. That's why the uncomitted movement is a cool way to protest it.
In response to that take, I've been called a Russian, Chinese, a tankie, a trumpist, a child, a shill, a bot, a Republican, a moron, and probably a few others I'm forgetting. What conclusion am I to draw about those who are so upset that someone suggested that Biden should stop supporting genocide?
The one I draw is that they support genocide and don't want him to stop.
Opening your mouth about any topic is how you get called that on Lemmy. Its community will mercifully ensure its own downfall.
What you don't like that Biden is singlehandedly responsible for worsening the student loan crisis, sky rocketing incarceration rates, and first to introduce what would become the Patriot act? Go back to China tankie, see how the incarceration rate is there!
