why'd you think the second one was terrible? like did you think the movie is bad or was the at-home experience a bad one?

I loved the second, maybe even better than the first. or at least I feel the second has more rewatchability

the ending is a great joke (a literal cop out) but I agree it isn't all that fun to watch. it (purposely) is very anticlimactic. even with all the shenanigans going on thru the movie, it still has the main plot of Arthur finding the Grail, and people want resolution to that. it's part of our storytelling DNA.
