But imagining the functionality which appears to be made for horizontal camera work it would allow easy zooming in and out with only using one hand which could be useful and is good for accessibility

Could be related/experimental towards to ai vision features where its normalized to record your surroundings while you do stuff to get vocal feedback. I can imagine how zoom plays an important role into the context window the ai is provided with.

I mean yeah they do have an ai chat feature but i literally never used it and honestly forgot its there.

They are also a leading donor to wikipedia so its not like they’re just stealing content for profit. You may indirectly do more to get money in wikipedia their hands then you do by visiting the main site.

I have tried to be more blunt with an underwhelming succes.

It has highlighted some of my everyday struggles i have with neurotypicals being neurodivergent. There are lots of cases where people assume i am criticizing while i was just expressing curiosity.

I think similarly about digital services stopping or hardware no longer getting support. Thats a fine and reasonable economy wise but at least have the moral decency to open source it instead.

The customer always gets screwed and the company somehow gets to keep the money. This case is slightly different, i don't know if you had to pay for access but my sentiment of future use holds.

This is an issue with all models, also the paid ones and its actually much worse then in the example where you at least expressed not being happy with the initial result.

My biggest road block with AI is that i ask a minor clarifying question. “Why did you do this in that way?” Expecting a genuine answer and being met with “i am so sorry here is some rubbish instead. “

My guess is this has to do with the fact that llms cannot actually reason so they also cannot provide honest clarification about their own steps, at best they can observe there own output and generate a possible explanation to it. That would actually be good enough for me but instead it collapses into a pattern where any questioning is labeled as critique with logical follow up for its assistant program is to apologize and try again.

I find myself quite drawn to the alternate tracks from around the time of ummagama these days. Some versions of the narrow way part III being a particular favorite.
