Yes you can install Docker on OpenWrt but do your own research as if I remember correctly you have to thinker with it

That's so great! Can I just recommend Firefox over Chromium? Perhaps privacy-wise is similar, but at least you send your User Agent to website as "firefox" which tells the websites to still make them compatible

Client/Server apps will do that in hostile countries, that's why people are moving to decentralized messaging platforms such as Matrix

Yup. Nobody denies you from forking Chromium and maintaining an updated version with MV2, but good luck doing that

Chromium is open source but not free (as in freedom). In fact, it is developed by Google and only Google has the power to accept or refuse a PR.

As an example: Manifest V2 is going to be discontinued in favor of V3 on Chromium (and consequently Chrome) despite the outrage of the users and developers.
