It is my modifier key for any window management keybind. Using alt or control might overlap with other apps or games. For example, I do super+r to open my app launcher or super+w to close a window. It does not do anything on its own.

I had mostly the same keybinds when I used windows. Ofc I can't remember how I did them as it was a long time ago.

You can get GPS systems that upload data using a SIM. Only viable if you live somewhere with cheap roaming plans. Last I checked, a local company was selling the hardware (without sim) for 200EUR. The thing I was trying to protect was 120-ish.

I use KeePassXC. I have shared the keys with someone I trust in person in case of death. I sync by manually copying the database between my devices.

I won't be pirating manga if I can actually pay for them. Some apps exist, like mangaplus, but they pale in comparison to something like tachiyomi. And then there is webtoon which shoves an ad in my face even though I purchase content weekly to read. And webnovel is atrocious with how I have to wait 5 seconds for an ad before they show me yet another ad every time I open the app. I just use koreader now for novels. I do buy physical volumes to show some support back. But a Korean series that I am reading does not have a novel published overseas, kind of a bummer.

Oh wow, that's really bad wtf. I would not mind it if it meant that the employees also get paid that much extra. But by looking at another comment here, it looks to me as if that is not the case. Really sad how undeserving of our support this system is, especially in the USA.

Yea no shit, idk if it's just for my region or what, but Spotify does not manage their subscription through the play store. Makes it more annoying to cancel it too, which the execs at Spotify probably see as a plus.

I prefer mullvad. Not only is their pricing and account system much more privacy focused, they are a European (Swedish) company and are bound by the laws of my country by default. Another European one is surfshark (Dutch) which I used before. I trust mullvad more though. They also have open source clients and had no user data stored when they were raided once before.

Edit: clarifying the reason I used surfshark. I used it back when I was in high school a few years ago, so their 3 year plan seemed like a very good price. They also supported this very obscure VPN protocol whose name I can't remember, and my school just so happened to have forgotten to block it on their network. But I couldn't use that protocol on Linux due to incomplete connection steps provided by surfshark, and I switched to using linux full time in the second half of my first year, so that was a waste and I just used my mobile data.

I trust that windows viruses won't work on Linux. Plus I don't pirate software, unless I can crack it myself using binaries provided by the software. I just see pirating software as supporting a company I hate instead of supporting an open source project I like
