If your looking to move money from a bank to someone else's bank, I don't think you can expect to have much privacy in that from the parties actually making the transfer happen?

ntodotxt is great for a task list that is just a txt file and easy to sync.

For calendars I really think hosting your own would be less work in the end.

I have another address book I move them to that is a archive for past contacts. Past work contacts etc.. never had to go back to it, but good to know I can. Also don't have random people I have not contacted in 10 years still on my day to day address book.

You cannot make a solar panel without waste. Is it better, remains to be seen.. But saying solar and wind is zero waste is not the view to have.

They can also be made in ways that cut cost and harm the environment.
