Exactly the problem.
It's not a big enough difference maker for most of us to ever truly need it. An amber alert for a kid thousands of miles away? No thanks, because that is what I got the vast majority of the time.
Life is too short for such invasive stress.
Government issued alerts are something I went out of my way to remove. I'll happily live precariously like humans managed to do for the entire rest of our history before cell phones.
Anyone who would think that would not be worth my time. I would never give them that power over me.

America is a 2nd world country without universal health care. Just stick to your first world country.

Fucking exactly. It's regular users that turn everything to shit, or allow it to happen at least.
Yeah as soon as I am directed to discord for anything , I move on with something else in life instead.
