This kind of thing is infuriating. Especially when the actual etymology of "blacklist" is a 17th century play where a list of nobles scheming against the British monarchy is described as a blacklist.

Personally quite like reading things in other languages, just like a paragraph or so, and then checking my comprehension afterwards with an online translator. Only really partially works for Western European languages though!

Sounds like your aunt was projecting from what little you've said.

I still disagree but can understand your perspective.

I think your definition of addiction here is very narrow and most people would think that if there are withdrawal symptoms like you describe then that would qualify as an addiction.

I guess "clinical addiction" might mean an addiction which requires clinical intervention but I could imagine a hoarder who is "addicted" to collecting junk who requires a psychiatrist to break their pattern of compulsive behaviour.

Unciv is a great demake of Civilization 5

~~Freeciv~~ Unciv on Android is an almost feature complete re-creation of Civilization 5 with minimal graphics. You can also download the JAR and run it on a desktop if you have a Java SDK installed. As a Civ player that started with 4, I found it easier to pick up than freeciv which is trying to replicate something more like Civ2.

Edit: provide correct name

Honestly I don't try to change my older relatives' minds on things. After a certain point your views about life/politics get fixed and then that becomes part of your identity.

Fortunately I don't know any scrum masters personally so they would not even get the experience of being let down last time by a dev. Exceot in a purely metaphorical sense I guess.

Letting down people I love somehow

Careful with this one, it's an antique
