Google also can’t:

  • Offer developers money or perks not to launch their apps on rival stores

This is pretty hilarious if you know about Epic's strategy on PC.

That makes no sense at all why they impose this ruling on Android that had side loading to begin with but don't force Apple wide open to actually allow side loading. Makes the whole thing seem like an empty gesture of nothing actually being accomplished.

What's taking so long for side loading to be wide open for Apple.

When I emulated Metal Gear Solid 3 my PS3 controller came in clutch with the pressure sensitive face buttons.

Okay good. That was my main concern since I opt to download the same app from F-droid over Google play if it is an option.

Firefox because nothing has blocked ads as well as Ublock Origin has. DNS is for other apps but for browser Firefox has been king.

When you post a comment it shows up whether it is a new or old account instead of having to meet some karma requirement. Also third party apps are very nice over being pushed to use some bloated ad filled official app.

Looks simpler to set up than syncthing. Nice find.

Yeah love it. I use it to share files between Linux, Android, Windows, Steam Deck, and MacOS. Best OS agnostic sync tool I've used.

I just use syncthing but not sure outside of home wifi.

That's with trusted parties where that type of collaboration is less likely to happen between parties that are hostile to each other. I would not expect blank country to trust any blank adversary countries software and instead be wary of their motives and back doors, and they would be smart not to with both sides seeking each other harm.

I don't think you understand that I am viewing this from how sides that see each other as potential threats view and treat each other. Not talking about countries that are already collaborating as if they were allies.

In case you don't understand. I am not claiming that countries do not spy on their own citizens and seek methods to spy even more on them. I'm talking about how countries can react to countries they label as adversaries.
