Definitely the first step is to get more SSDs. I was traveling a lot and barely used a desktop or even a laptop for 6-7 years. I’ll check out those sync systems, thanks.

My concern is saving my email and photos before my account is randomly banned one day with no customer service and no recourse. God only knows what data they already harvested from when I used to back up my photos with their service.
That's the strategy, of course. Throw a ton of lawyers at it and hope the other company just gives up.
I agree, that is what they're doing. My only point was they're being sued, not suing someone. They just took the name and were ignoring the other company that was already using it.
Okay, pointing out the analogy of "Imagine if I created a product called Google and tried to sue Google for it [...] Well, that’s what Facebook is doing" doesn't match this situation.
Facebook isn’t suing Threads. The longtime trademark holder is suing Facebook.
Yep, I can't stand those air fresheners either.
I have an FB account from 2010 that I didn't sign into for 2-3 years. I tried and they wanted me to send them my driver's license... uh, no. Sillier thing is I have a linked instagram account I have signed into every week or two with no problems.

if he somehow turned it into a legitimized escort service, that would be actually useful to society, other than that he would be the one running it so it would be corrupt af and detrimental to society.
it's every app in existence!! That means it will be worth every other app x 10!!
NoScript helps a lot, too. I suppose other extensions also. It’s horrifying how many sites embed Google and Facebook tracking, including ones that really shouldn’t like medical sites and banks.
