Heart wrenching and entirely understandable. Those things are both magnificent and inconvenient these days

The entire Cosmere are the best books I've read and the most I've been obsessively invested in a story.

And that's saying something, I've been obsessed with some damn stories in my time

Seven years ago on New Year's Day my little sister unexpectedly passed away, and just a few days ago my stepmom (a mother of little girls 7 and 9) passed.

I would have taken 100 Christmas's of coal over this. It will be hard to not go into the holidays bracing myself for the next disaster.

I care what you say ❤️

You, yes you reading this, have a valid perspective and a unique insight and the world is enriched by you sharing your thoughts with other strangers.

If you were seeing Middle East arguments that's your algo, I get video games and anime and book content mostly.

I didn't hear about it not joining the Fediverse? That's a shame.

Twitter never clicked with me, I probably spent a cumulative 3 hours or less on Twitter over the last decade. Threads on the other hand, I immediately understood it and enjoyed it in a way that Twitter made impossible.

Better yet, yell into the cloud, let an LLM respond

Threads is a wonderful platform, there and here.

You might be shocked how quickly you get used to reading on your phone. A nice epub reader (I recommend a nice app called FB reader) + libgen and you're golden.

I also have a nice 7-in tablet that I got for reading, one of Samsung's non-flagships. I use my phone more out of pure convenience, but I have definitely put my hours in on both. Usually I'll load up a book I'm reading on both and kinda go back and forth.

Jay is a person, and the picture that was written on invokes the same feeling that this Jay does, the picture is Jay AF.

My phone's hardware is more stacked than my PC at this point and that blows me away
