Just use rclone. It does this natively.

With Pihole you can restrict or be permissive with different devices, based on MAC or IP address.

I had the same issue but it's working again for me now.

[SOLVED] Podman won't start Pihole with an error saying that it can't bind to port 53, as it is already in use, but nothing is using port 53. in c/[email protected]

Ahhh... very good. I avoided all this by running Pihole on its own IP on the LAN using a bridged interface from the host.
