I've just started deleting my stuff. Their mass delete doesn't seem to work and it looks like i need to do it one at a time manually. Argh.

Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact.

The very last true compact phone with a 3.5mm jack, FM radio, in-device noise cancelling (only with proprietry 5-pole earphones) and hardware camera shutter button.

Oh, not to forget tool-less sim tray removal. This phone had it all.

My thoughts about the removal of the buds too. Really shitty move. Pretty sure people will still buy the buds if they like it even if the phone still has the 3.5mm jack.

I would offer a suggestion "it's not that I have nothing to hide; it's that i have nothing i want you or anyone else to see".

Both may sound similar but in reality quite diffierent.

I actually upgraded to the Zenfone 8 from the XZ1C. I still miss the size as well as the dedicated camera shuttrr button. I also find it amazing that Sony went with a pull out sim tray. No more needing to poke a small pin just to eject it.

I too would like a smallerphone as well. Bringing back the 3.5mm jack would be a bonus, but a smaller phone is higher on my priority list. Even better if it's the same size as my old Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact.

I use GPS Logger as well. Everything is saved locally in a kml file. The trick is to find an optimal settings which gives you enough data points but doesn't kill your batteey in the process.

Might be easier to start with something "simpler" like the ECU or infotainment unit.

Sony minidisc says hi :p

I remember a time when i was hoping they'll implement the minidisc as an alternate removerable storage for PC. More robust compared to floppy disks, less delicate compared to CDR, and is rewritable too. LOL

Millennial because they grew up only knowing MP3s and digital media and didn't get to experience disc based media. :p

Found the millenial :p /jk

It's essentially a player which ignores the region locks on bluray discs.
