I've been using DockSTARTer for years and it does what I need, when I need it.

If the goal is to learn, then go for learning Docker directly.

If the goal is to do it well and quickly, don't reinvent the wheel.

Can the ISP offer dedicated IPv4 addresses? We had a similar issue with the new rural fiber provider. I spent hours tinkering and researching only to finally call support.

15 minutes and $2/mo later it's all taken care of. I have a direct IP and no maintenance nightmare that I have to sacrifice a goat to the printer gods and pray for mercy to make work*

DockSTARTer takes most of the work out of setting up and maintaining a docker -arr suite. The guys that maintain it are great too.

It's out there. I managed to collect nearly everything from I think '35 onwards.

There's something of a character and chapter like that in Red Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson. It's a good book otherwise, too.
