That said, ground-source systems have been used to good effect in climates like that! But, of course, do what's right for you ๐Ÿ™‚

You might not be totally out of luck:

  • More modern units do pretty well down to -20f.
  • Ground-source systems don't care about air temps (but are more expensive)
