Thank you! I was on the bus and couldn't get the article to load

I would imagine it was based on what time upvotes came in for a particular community. Someone would need to collect data on that separately. I don't think there's a built in API for it yet
What's the feature
What? How is that a reply to what they just said
When apple does something harmful to the market, you can't just ignore it by calling it an ad
From the comments I'm noticing a trend
- Google Chromecast issues
- Not allowed to do background effects in Google meet
and from personal experience:
- issues using the store to update add-ons on Google docs
- can't authenticate desktop Google drive
I use a lot of Google products, but avoid Chrome because of nonsense like this. Firefox works fine for everything else EXCEPT certain Google products. Feels intentional
Translations might be coming soon
Done locally on the device, so no risk of personal info going to some company
Also isn't that what Firefox containers do?
It's not per tab, but I don't see how that would be useful. I add specific topics and then make / destroy the containers as needed.
It's already annoying enough logging into the sites per container, I can't imagine doing that every time I open a tab.
That's part of why I avoided getting new Chromecast devices 😄
Sharing misleading info means people are less likely to believe you on real issues.
Firefox IS better, Chrome's meddling IS a problem. We don't need to make stuff up in favor of that, and clarifying the point isn't "defending Google"
Yep I use Firefox for everything, but I keep chrome installed as a backup when needed.
The most common reason for opening chrome is for Google related things. Certain google docs features like the add-ons store only worked in Chrome, but the add-ons themselves work anywhere. Or signing into Google Drive desktop app failed when the auth window opened in Firefox or Edge, but it worked in Chrome.
I just thought that was Chrome breaking things in other browsers intentionally, since no other services had that kind of issue.
Mine runs fine with many many tabs, I basically don't think about it.
Sometimes people will test browser speed by opening a different browser for the first time while the other is still running. Opening chrome while Firefox is running can make chrome look slow, and so will the opposite.
If you actually test properly, you won't notice a difference. Officially, Firefox is faster
:p
