At least with my own anecdotal evidence, it's also color temp. "Daylight" bulbs seem to be more of an issue.

I prefer bright but warmer light

Certain programs can do multithreaded downloads on ftp servers. Winscp is one that can do it. Idk about other software

The trick is you get the stream url from vlc, then load it up in a browser to download it fully.

it wasn't faked, but it was very much a ship.of Theseus pregnancy test. They replaced the microcontroller with one they could program (it might have been the reprogrammable version of the same microcontroller. And the screen was replaced.

I do. Most sites strip metadata from images anyways. If you're super worried about it, you can just remove the metadata in windows (or your other os) or prior to upload.

I keep it on because I use my phone for geotagging trees on campus for labs.
