This is what I use. Its open source. Loads faster than any other app ive tried. And best of all it also has really convenient features like putting reposts in a carousel, adding different slight color highlights to the background of posts depending on whether its a repost, reply or normal post. Also it has a thread counter like 2/5 so you know if a post is a part of a thread.

The middle ground is for them to remove all VC and corporate entities trying to make billions off of journalism while journalists make scraps. We should have federal and state funds that go to journalists and also have a donation model for people to be able to donate easily. Journalism shouldn’t be behind any paywalls though especially in the age if misinformation, deepfakes, etc where all the propaganda and misinformation is freely available and much easier to share

I used to think the same but the people that are being scammed are actually people who are usually very desperate and being taken advantage of. People with cancers, tumors, sick children, etc that are looking for anything to help them and then these scammers take advantage of their fear and desperation to scam them and harm them.

Like an allowlist that lets lemmy users on that instance setup their account like dbzero users can
