There has been a problem with owners not charging PHEVs.

But I suspect the main reason is profit margins. Companies learned that selling fewer premium products could be more profitable than selling lots of cheaper models with tighter margins.

So they all basically fucked on out of the cheap car market. Except for Hyundai/Kia, Mitsubishi and Nissan, you can’t really buy an econobox anymore.

PHEVs are like high end econoboxes with an expensive mix of technologies that make margins too thin. Which sucks because I live in a cold climate and have long weekend drives to help family and occasional traveling jobs that make a hybrid the best choice for the time being.

kWh/Kg is really all that matters, maybe max charge/discharge rates too.

But they aren’t clickbatey enough for commercial news.

I was born in Detroit, and feel slandered now.

You mean the current inflation driven by corporate profiteering?

So now when I grocery shop, I have to wait a week until the overpriced items I’d like are 2 for 1 (back to the original price).

Also Metronomy, Little Dragon and Amon Tobin. For the aging hipsters in the crowd.

Al’s I saw Kid Koala a couple times in the mid 2000s including a little bar show that was fucking amazing. We played bingo at the little show. I just found my bingo card a few days ago.

The Right are denying scientific consensus on anything that doesn’t make them money or own the libs.

Forget the “social economics” which is also bunk, because the majority of Americans want lower healthcare costs, gun control, freedom of choice, better economic equality, and better education.

These are all things the right (and written down in Project 2025 btw).

If Mr. Beast knew anything, he’d claim to work with the popular majority, but he’s been trained by social media that controversy equals popularity. Basically it’s an algorithmic version of “no such thing as bad press”. So he won’t do the best thing for the world, he’ll do whatever he thinks will be a net gain in popularity. Which is why he said what he said, so he doesn’t lose and right wing viewers of his clickbate.

They didn’t say centrists bad, they said arguing for compromise with bad actors (those that deny provable facts) is bad.

Is it that, or is it because they’re still using old pirated copies of XP everywhere, so they don’t have to worry about broken updates?

Yeah, and if you move the cursor convincingly enough, it will just give the check mark without showing any pictures.

It starts checking your browser, input devices, screen info, etc, before you even click the are you human box.

I suspect it knows you’re human and keeps track of those people who are good at clicking the image, so they can harvest more training data. They know who will keep trying, and give them more images to verify.
