The issue is wider than Brave. Nowadays, companies build uncritical communities around their products.
If you try to be critical, you loose the community in which you're involved on one side. And, if you are critical from the outside, "you don't understand" like in the "you're not the choose one".
It would be nice. The major issue is the network that people created there. It takes years to build it, and you won't have it back on the Fediverse.
Greedy companies like youtube thinking tracking people is fine don't need my money. I won't end using adblockers.
I know a lot of people relying on it for sharing research papers and finding them. It's depressing to not have an alternative.
So they're admitting regulations work. They are making a lot less money due to random ads instead of targeting ads so they will have to charge to be sure they are still making too much.
I can't wait for the next regulations against tech corporations and social media.
A lot of research articles is still shared on it and nowhere else. I would love people moving somewhere else but it didn't happen for now.

No problem, the youtube experience without adblock and sponsorblock is bad. If you have AndroidTV, SmartTube is a thing.
There are multiple fake website. The team can't do much about them. Revanced is a manager and people have to patch the APK on their phones.
