Kbin is also great, nostr but not for microblog, just the apps for Blog, podcast, communities.

Write freely is so beautiful and easy to host a plain blog / magazine

Gotosocial will be always my small self hosted personal instance.

I find Pixelfed and funkwhale too buggy...

I have used owncast and I liked it much!

I'm looking for suggestions on budget friendly hosting providers, specifically for VPS or pre-installed Yunohost options. My goal is to host a single Fediverse instance with an SSL domain. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
