oh. I guess I need to read the terms of service a bit closer.

Have to admit that’s a good deal.
I was about to ask if this was a paid premium or modded app.
Out of curiosity, what rewards?
No problem, Android is definitely more for sailors because they can use extensions in Firefox, do torrents, install emulators, etc. I have an ipad for business but an android tablet for fun.
LOL I wouldn’t recommend it. Stay with Android if you want to do practically anything outside the official app store. I use an iphone and an android tablet.
edit: Jailbreaking is a thing, but it’s a pain in the ass and you’re stuck on old iOS versions until the jailbreaks get updated, which could be a long while.
Firefox Focus appears to let me play youtube without ads, but I’m unclear if it’s because I also have the Vinegar extension (which shouldn’t matter, since the extension itself says it only works in Safari.)
It’s a Safari extension for 1.99 USD
I just installed SmartTubeNext on mine for ad free youtube and it turns out I can pair it with and cast from YouTube Revanced on my tablet, and it carries over all the skips for SponsorBlock as well. Don’t even have to be logged in to SmartTube, works fine with the default anon view. You don’t even have to keep them connected. Once SmartTube receives a playlist, you can disconnect the cast and SponsorBlock sections still work.

At this point all I have on it is Kodi, Twitch, SmartTubeNext, the free Roku app for old tv series, and RetroArch for pre-N64 games.(edit: it may very well play n64 games etc as well, it’s more an issue of storage space for me. My Kodi library is pretty big.)
Pair it with a pihole and Twitch is also ad free.
I have the one from yts. Stats are
- 1920x696
- 24 fps frame rate
- 2248 kbps data rate
- 2632 kbps total bitrate
It looks like they just went with an unusual aspect ratio to artificially make it seem “even more widescreen”, which isn’t unheard of. Lawrence of Arabia was 2.20:1 or 2.35:1 depending on 70mm vs 35mm.
If you look at this cheat sheet, 2.20:1 isn’t even on there, and 2.35:1 is an oddball 1920x817.
So, could be normal, or maybe not.
edit: the wikipedia page for it says
”To give the film the feel of classic Hollywood epics like Ben-Hur, the filmmakers opted to shoot the film in 2.76:1 ultra-wide aspect ratio.”
which also isn’t on that cheat sheet.
Not sure what to think of the AI parts, but thanks for letting us know!
