My problem is that "AI" is an overly broad term that leads people to conflate very different technologies. I just want people to use more specific language.

You really think OP is trying to derail discussion of the effects of kids having phones, and not, say, trying to draw the attention to the fact that the people in charge are doing fuck all to solve much more serious problems that also cause anxiety in kids?

I'm all for punishing white collar crime severely, but the goal for the EU seems to be to set the fines so they're not especially punitive, but still high enough that the offender would have saved money by just playing by the rules. That's a damn sight better than what we usually get in the US.
