In England we had it with school jumpers, poor kids had a cheap jumper with the logo sewn on, everyone else had an official jumper.

I was one of the three or so “poor” kids in my year, and it was quite embarrassing. Wasn’t even poor, my mum was just extremely stingy and wouldn’t pay for the proper jumper…

The only remotely interesting character in Romulus.

Music is mixed that way, but spatial then takes a hammer to that concept.

It takes away the single interwoven sound and imo sounds like different tracks being played on opposite sides of the room.

I usually try the atmos mix for an album if it’s available on tidal, and usually all it ever does is remove the punch from songs.

Lysergic acid diethylamide doesn’t fix a bad mix.

You can still hear all the separate instruments surrounding you on a good regular mix, all the spatial does is break the interwoven sound.

I hate the “spatial” mixes.

Sometimes they’re done really well, but most of the time it’s just putting different parts of the song in different areas and makes it sound “diluted”.

Like, the guitar is in front of you, then the bass is behind and to the left… why??

So is there a guy that has to chop someone’s head off, strip all the flesh and then scoop the brain out??

I’m kinda hoping there’s an acid dip they do instead, cause that would be an awful job…

Maybe these “chemicals” are the flavour the dog wants tho, I imagine it’s kinda like a really concentrated gravy?

I don’t imagine flavour has that much to do with nutrition, in fact it’s probably lacking in nutrition if it has no flavour.

LLMs have already reached the end of the line 🤔

I don’t believe that. At least from an implementation perspective we’re extremely early on, and I don’t see why the tech itself can’t be improved either.

Maybe it’s current iteration has hit a wall, but I don’t think anyone can really say what the future holds for it.
