The only iOS message bridge i'm aware of is AirMessage, and that requires a Mac computer to act as the app's server
The FP2 battery dying quickly might be explained by Snapdragon's non ideal SOCs around that time period, it was also a problem on the Galaxy S5 that I put up with firsthand.
The SOCs had the performance, but they ran hot and drank the battery as if there was an electricity drought.
I don't think Android 9(?) is going to be particularly kind to that device either...
I'm worried about if/how Wayland is going to affect X11 forwarding TBH... It's a really useful linux feature that i'm susprised gets very little use

Admiral is the worst kind of anti adblock there is.
They buy thousands of domains at a time, with individually corresponding Google Cloud IPs to evade adblock lists. Real pain in the ass to block them, they also DMCA community blocklists containing their domains
