Doesn't sound like something someone who's confident in their product would do. Either way, still doesn't stop anyone from lending it out for reviewers.

Yeah, unless there's huge advances in solar panel efficiency and weight, it's probably better to focus on smart charging off static solar panels, even though it would be cool to own a car that just charges itself one day.

Companies like Aptera will need to find a niche use case where solar makes more sense than plugging in at home. I guess it would be useful for people that only have on street parking available to them?

And those are largely banned from the EU as well. The issue is the lack of regulation in the US, it's killing pedestrians daily.

Yeah, this cybertruck would fit right into the game.

Isn't this ambient RF that's there anyway, like your WiFi network and stuff like that? I don't see any harm in harnessing it for low power applications like those switches, sensors, etc.

Smart switches are one of the next things I'll upgrade in the house. But some of my switches control fans as well, so there's not a huge amount of choice when it comes to finding something that's compatible and works with some sort of standard instead of having their own app.

Yeah, I don't pirate software, but I'd prefer to stick to private trackers, even though i'm tempted to look at stuff like radarr and sonarr that use public trackers too, just for convenience.

Are you using something else? I'm on IPT, never had any issues, but I'm willing to move.

Bleh, didn't know IPT was run by chuds.

Yeah, I don't think people realise how difficult it is to get those licences. Even with all the cash Apple is sitting on they can't expedite the process. The only way to get around that hurdle is to actually buy a bank in each country.

It was useful for the American Empire, which isn't there to serve the American people, but their oligarchs instead: the people that own the oil companies and suppliers to the military. Whenever a country decided they wanted to control their own natural resources, a coup would happen.

Probably a better approach is to use pantographs for trucks like on that stretch of road in Germany. And yeah, wireless charging would be cool, but it's probably better suited for parking spots/garages instead of moving targets.
