Lemmy's very nature killed it for me.

It's way too much work to try and cultivate the setup I built with ease on reddit.

I'm still here, but the site iddn't make it easy.

What's that, the company infamous for being restrictive as hell in regards to usability, interoperability, repair, and even infamously went to court to defend their right to throttle their consumer's hardware capabilities to force them to upgrade isn't supporting their legacy hardware?

That's because windows will run on a box of rusty rocks, and works with just about anything and everything. There may be the occasional crash, but the OS WILL run.

Mac OS only runs on their own proprietary hardware that it's optimized for, and got help you if you have to integrate it with ANYTHING AT ALL.

I will die before I use Windows 11.

"Upgrading" from 7 to 10 was already painful enough.
