My flight was canceled. Luckily that was a partner airline. My actual airline rebooked me on a direct flight. Leaves 3 hours later and arrives earlier. Lower carbon footprint. So, except that I'm standing in queue so someone can inspect my documents it's basically a win for me. ๐

Which is weird, because in those cases you can vote for whatever 3rd party candidate is closest to what you want. In the distant past I voted Green for this reason, knowing it didn't matter. (Since then the state swung left a bit and I vote Democrat. I even registered as Democrat to vote for Bernie in the primaries...)
You don't have to tell people how you voted. That's why we have voting booths!
I mean, look at how great privatizing the rail system has worked out in the UK!
Banking is completely different from voting from a security point of view. None of the parties in a bank transaction are anonymous, and there are numerous ways to retry or roll back a transaction. Computerized voting is more like crypto currency. ๐
Meh. I lose power every 3 or 4 years on average. A UPS just doesn't make sense for me. (When I lived in Virginia it was once a month on average, so for sure it made sense....)
I don't think so. Even with just 7 inches or so you're starting to have to be careful with angles to avoid hurting your partner.
My son had one question wrong on his mathematics final exam. He noticed that the grader took the point off on a question that he had originally wrong but had corrected. The grader fixed it when my son pointed it out, so he got a perfect score!
Can't you make one atom thin sheets of carbon with a pencil and tape?
Police don't even really have a duty to enforce the law, at least not in the USA:

Maybe a lot of their content is terrible but Delicious in Dungeon is a work of art!
