Thanks! Will pass your suggestion to my brother who may proceed with the repair.

Greetings!

My sister's Android 11 based Samsung A10s stopped receiving Wi-Fi and Bluetooth signals a few days ago. We would try to turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth but it was stuck on the scanning screen. I thought why not get an OTG adopter and plug external Wi-Fi antenna so I bought one.

The problem is, that phone isn't even recognizing that adopter (that Wi-Fi adopter is even recognized by our sattelite receiver with bare-bone software whereas our old Windows PC has no issue in utilizing that adopter). I think that phone is still trying to establish a connection through the on board Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module.

Is there a way to force that phone to use that adopter instead of the broken one inside?

TIA!

PS: Our personal research showed Wi-Fi and Bluetooth problems were also faced by other A10s users and some videos suggested to get that nodule repaired. But her phone was able to connect to WiFi and Bluetooth after the fault for almost 5 days and today, the very problem creeped again.

Sadly, I am getting the warning even whitelisting YouTube on Ghostry. I have to turn off Ghostry altogether to do away with the warning.

That's strange. Try 192.168.1.100

Adding proxy is a native feature in WhatsApp.

  1. Go to Settings > Storage and Data > Proxy.
  2. Add 127.0.0.1 in the IP address and add a random port too.
  3. When you want to disconnect WhatsApp from the internet, just turn on the proxy. To reconnect, turn it off.

Just add proxy to something that leads to nowhere to block WhatsApp from connecting anywhere.

Another anti consumer move by Meta. Messenger Lite just worked better and without stutters on my old device with less RAM. Plus the ability to send files was an added bonus, too.

I guess I'll have to use the web version of Facebook lite.

Greetings! I am looking for an app which blocks distracting apps like NewPipe, Infinity and Facebook and unlocks them when the screen time of 1 hours and 30 minutes of a productive app like OneNote is achieved. This should also apply to distracting websites.

I think the screen time of productivity based apps requiring distracting apps to be unlocked is a fantastic way to stay productive and I have not seen any blocking apps implemented this feature.

TIA
