I mean, one was always for-profit and didn't try to hide it. WPE is within the rights to do that. Meanwhile, Matt preaches open-source while acting like a manchild and showing just how controlled it all is by him alone. The only real brand being tarnished is WordPress. I've seen more people say their next site will be with a different CMS. Sad.

Of all the students in the world, they pick ones from a "Turkish high school". Any clear indication why there of all places when conducted by a US university?

Cope. It's based on a shitcoin and now they're rug pulling their node operators and forcing an even less privacy-oriented premined ethereum-based shitcoin that'll further enrich only the devs.

I was looking for a multi-OS file encrypter, for a single solution, and found this one: https://paranoiaworks.mobi/sse/pro_version_features.html

The pro version says, "You get new algorithms: Threefish 1024bit, SHACAL-2 512bit and Paranoia C4 2048bit (which is a cascade of Threefish–Serpent–AES–SHACAL2)."

Any real benefit to a multiple encryption scheme of 4 different ciphers for that 3rd algo? Just seems like it could increase the likelihood of introducing more possible vulns and/or more susceptible to cryptanalysis

So I know, I know you're not really supposed to change the domain of an already existing Mastodon server. But I did anyway and set the previous domain as alt domain in config. However, to see content of accounts I previously followed, I need to keep the old domain running. With a redirect in place to the new domain it breaks seeing those account's content. Anyway to resolve this so I can point old domain to new and see all content? I tried unfollow/refollow and it didn't work. Thanks

I've set up object storage properly on my instance. However, I noticed that pictrs is still ballooning in size and I beleive it's due to the thumbnail cache. This cache does not appear to be getting stored in the object storage. Any idea how I can have anything saved in pictrs be stored in my object storage provider rather than local? Thanks
