Depends on the situation really, it makes me feel the joy of a naughty child. Roll with it. Where you can feed people bad data, do it. Where you cannot, strip it and block it. Obtusify and randomise how your computer connects to the internet (browser spoofs, VPNs, SPN, etc.), use containers (Firefox), support others breaking rules (https://snowflake.torproject.org/), contain your applications (https://safing.io/), spoof things like location etc. This is my little everyday act of anarchism. If people want to fight back against this bullshit, they should learn to stop complying with the folks putting everyone and everything in boxes. People are so used to mindlessly complying. It's my nerdy kind of fun. Make your phone & computer a poisoned apple when you have time.

I've used this for a while. Also, I love filling out corpo surveys because I feed them bad data. It's the little acts of chaos.

Another great extension:

If they want real information, they can pay me, and even then, well... :) Don't work for free.

To quote one of the greats, "The Chinaman is not the issue here, dude."

It's not wise to assume someone is stupid based on ability with technology or need of it. This is why Linux fans drive people away and harm adoption.

This is already too jargon filled for a new user and overwhelming. I already went through this with my partner who told me off for it lol.

Try them here: https://distrosea.com/

I suggest Cinnamon Ubuntu for a combination of Mint and Ubuntu and the best of both worlds. It's got the Mint Windows like front end, with Ubuntu in the back. Most help online is for Ubuntu anyway and it's better with games imo.

My partner is a gamer and this is what I'm bringing him in on this summer.

Nope. I'm currently in England and a lot of it they burn with the rest of our garbage too. Other places here still ship it to the third world. We still have a long way to go before the garbage and recycling problem is fixed.

This is a global problem, fortunately consumers are better at separating their waste these days. A lot of these problems are up stream, though. Some places are getting better as per above but they are not good with this stuff. These laws are meant to set bare minimum standards and they are repeatedly missed.
