Hi, jewish american here. I recognize Palistine, and I have a hard time understanding why "safe for jews" and "recognizing palistine" are mutually exclusive. Could you elaborate on that? Just so you know any answer involving Isreal I'm just going to call antisemetic since conflating jews and Isreal is antisemitic in the same way conflating China and chinese people is racist.

As someone who did swap theor steam deck's M.2, I really wish it were a 2280 instead since those drives can hold much more. The largest 2230 I could find was only 2 TB.

The xbox one/series consoles run a good number of 360 games dispite the fact that the 360 uses powerPC and the newer consoles are x86.

Sony is out here getting shown up by rpcs3 having about 70℅ of their listed games working perfectly fine by hobbyists reverse engineering the ps3.

Would you like an eli5 for some stuff you'll see in the linux community/forums/etc?

I'd personally be happy to give you a quick rundown of some stuff.

Really? I swore I've been told that the regular mint uses snaps since ubuntu loves them. I haven't used mint since snaps were a thing eitherway.

I'm also going to recommend Linux Mint, its a really friendly beginner distro. I'll presonally recommend you do Linux Mint Debian instead of normal linux mint ~~since regular linux mint is Ubuntu based and really loves snaps.~~

The default user env is cinnimon which is going to look a lot like Windows 10 making the transition easier. If you want to install steam its literally a command line away from installing and then its ready to go. That and Steam personally pushing for Linux as a viable gaming platform there are a lot more games now that work out of the box now on steam.

enjoying personal freedom : not subject to the control or domination of another

Merriam webster dictionary definition 2D.

That is a definition people use when discussing libre software. The software is under YOUR control. If adobe says "fuck you, you don't get the brush tool anymore" thats it for the brush tool. If gimp gets rid of a feature in the main branch, you can say "no fuck you I like this tool" and can just keep the code base that included it still.

Also you have a rather perscriptive understanding of language, which just simply isn't how language works. Languages evolve over time. Open up a dictionary and see how many definitions are listed as antiquated. Those are definitions that aren't used anymore as they fell out of favor.

Now get off your high horse about how words aren't the same as they used to be or how words are frozen to definitions.

I loved his video complaining about his search for surfshark's limit on ads, going insane in the process, not finding it, and then just doing a deadpan delivery of surfshark at the end.

With the model of the switch I have, modding it like this is only a softmod. Restarting the switch returns it to its normal nintendo switch interface and OS.

Why do this? Its fun, and besides if nintendo doesn't want you playing its old games on new hardware then I'll makr the new hardware play the old games.

Not necessarily, my job used to have a flip phone that the sales team would use for after work calls, and it ran android.
