IIRC it doesn't have quite as much polish as Unity or Unreal, and last I researched, it doesn't run natively on Wayland (yet).

I'm not really a fan of BTC becoming more wide spread. I'd prefer something more akin to GNU Taler.

Yeah, but I'd still argue that it's a lot better than nothing, and we have Valve to thank for making a lot of Windows games actually playable on Linux.

Essentially a perjorative for authoritarian communists. The types of people who uncritically glorify the Soviet Union (and depending on which one you're talking to, the Russian Federation as well), the People's Republic of China, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, etc. Here's a page on Wikipedia about it.
