I have a plan to make the switch to Linux. For now I was just looking for any feedback on how to handle current Windows OS.

I would recommend moving to win 10 in the meantime. Much easier to avoid a lot of the nonsense than on 11.

Check out GrapheneOS.

It's such a lazy bitch move to blanket block vpn users. For anyone intent on causing meaningful harm it's trivial to bypass, so the only ones really impacted are the innocent mass of privacy minded people. Unnecessary hassle for people doing nothing wrong.

Open the actual history window.

the block function will block that account from engaging with, but not block seeing, a public post

People have been conditioned to believe that determination of an act's morality is somehow changed when when carried out on a large enough scale, or when performed by certain entities.

Try clearing your ublock cache. It's kind of buried in a support/help section nowadays.

Yeah, probably. The fact that you use mullvad is exposed to your financial institution, but as long as mullvad doesn't keep logs (which has been legally tested to show that they do not), I don't think it really matters all that much for most people.

Lol, torrents aren't going anywhere. Decentralized and entrenched as fuck.

It's more basic than that even. It's the fact that most people know fuck all about any history. Specifically here, there's more than a century's worth of history on Zionism (and colonialism is indeed relevant) that people know almost nothing about.

Gross.

Not Lemmy, but mbin instance fedia.io doesn't have any of that nonsense.

Aurora did. Stopped working at some point this year for some reason; I was upset when I noticed the change :/
