Switch to Signal. It's not like there's anything to learn, the UI isn't all that different from WhatsApp

Ugh I really don't want to have to do that

I've been scratching my head with this one for close to a year now.

About a year ago my OnePlus Nord CE3 (Android 14, now Android 15) suddenly stopped recognizing the mic on any Bluetooth devices -- even when a device is connected, it stubbornly uses the mic on the phone itself, never the one on the device.

I've tried this with two pairs of TWS earphones and a Bluetooth speaker, all running either Bluetooth v5.2 or v5.3. All three of these devices work perfectly when connected to my Windows laptop.

Help? This used to work, I can't for the life of me figure why it stopped.

It was the launcher! I tried out Microsoft Launcher and that looks so much better. Thanks!

OnePlus Nord CE3 updated to Android 15 yesterday and the UI is...horrible? It's plagued by scaling issues everywhere, widgets are way too huge on the home screen, even messing around in developer settings doesn't fix it. Suggestions?

...and also isn't stealing shit and wrecking the environment.

Just to be clear, I do think the obvious solution to terrible things like this is vastly expanded public transit so that people don't have to rely on cars to get everywhere, not overhyped technology and driving aids that are still only marginally better than a human driver. I just thought the article was interesting.

The AIs at Sesame are able to hold eloquent and free-flowing conversations about just about anything, but the second you mention the Palestinian genocide they become very evasive, offering generic platitudes about "it's complicated" and "pain on all sides" and "nuance is required", and refusing to confirm anything that seems to hold Israel at fault for the genocide -- even publicly available information "can't be verified", according to Sesame.

It also seems to block users from saving conversations that pertain specifically to Palestine, but everything else seems A-OK to save and review.
