Everything is everything if you squint enough. You have to look past the meaning of the words and look at the context - social media is usually considered to be FB, Insta, TikTok, Xitter.

Maybe this will finally get people to fuck off social media. It's toxic and good for nothing. I wish we had forums back and people would start using them again.
Oh, I don't recognize that name. I ve only been using MST for a year now at a new job. Since I am a contractor for another company, I still use self hosted Rocket.Chat instance, with Jitsi integration so we can also do calls.
Me too - can't share my screen, can't drag and drop files from folder other than Downloads, and if I am too fast when opening chat a start wroting a message it switches to RTL. Not talking about login loops, login expires but cookie doesn't (if I close it, open it again, and I am fast enough I can still chat and it arrives, checked via phone).
Can't forget it's just reskinned Skype for Business. It was shit back in the day, but at least everything else was shitty aswell.
In our company we self host Rocket.Chat, and damn me if it isn't the best thing ever. It just fucking works, flawlessly.
Haven't seen his answer here yet, but I use Zoho. It has a free tier IIRC and supports custom domain.
Not sure how private it is, tho.
Wait, I am dumb, somehow I though it's already November...
I always wonder why those VPN absolutists aren't happy with your regular HTTPS. Sure, maybe HTTP is safer with the VPN, but it just hides your real IP from the target website.

I once bought "4/5 chilli peppers, EXTRA HEAT" meat, pre-sauces for the grill. It was not even in the slightest sense spicy, even water is spicier.
To sum it up: about the same as any platform where people can interact? What's so FOMO about a game being on sale if it's gonna be on sale next week aswell?
I fail to see how Steam Market is so bad, it is not possible to redeem the cash (unless you do it via black market, which is against the TOS), so all money is still in the system. Yeah, it is being used to do unregulated gambling, but it's a regulatory problem which should be handled by the countries to define what gambling is, and shut these sites down. Why the fuck should Steam care?
NFTs in crypto space are a joke, and everywhere else they are basically in any online software, failing to see the point here.
In global context, maybe. In this thread, not quite. I do not consider ChatGPT to be objective or that it understands context of an external source.
