I gave up on factamatic.org, my note taking app many many years ago, basically what obsidian is now. I suffer from a lack of execution.

They see a pile of cash and can't resist. The only way it'll truly stop is if users boycott everytime they try to bring it back, which will be neverending.

Yep. I just deleted my top comments and deleted the account. I wasn't a high fluting karma whore, but it was 15 years worth. I still open reddit accidentally often, and that site is for sure going for the generic social media route. Such a shame.

The writing is on the wall, they are not giving up on that potential cash cow. I won't use it, hell I don't use windows, but there are normal computer users that will have it thrust upon on them and won't know how to really turn it off.

Yeah nah. I hope these car company keep adding subscriptions, it'll hopefully push people over the edge and hurt their sales. These cars are becoming unfix-able. I can't imagine how much it would cost to get this system fixed.

That's a pretty good date. Browsers are monstrous software projects. I just wish it was written in a memory safer language. Oh well.
