Like any tool, the tech is fine. It's the people using them that have been shown to be irresponsible. Therefore, we should not allow use of these tools.

Yeah I've never heard of that either, and I've used email marketing platforms. They have a lot of analytics, but nothing anywhere near that level. (Granted, this was also back in like 2010.)

Even if you have an internal CA, few appliances support this kind of automation. At best, they have an API, and you get to write that automation yourself for each appliance.
