I'm convinced a lot of the fuck car people are people in their 20s with no kids who live in the city where they can heavily rely on good public transport and not have a need to travel too far.

I totally get the sentiment but it's just not practical for a lot of us. To get people away from cars the local authority would need to practically fill the roads with small extremely regular buses that go all over the place. You'd never wait more than a couple of minutes outside your house for a bus to arrive to go somewhere.

Four wheelie bins

  • Green: general waste
  • Blue: plastic, metal and glass
  • Brown: cardboard and paper
  • Grey: garden waste (it's £30/year for this service though)

The brown and grey are only picked up once a month which is really annoying if you've had a lot of parcels and forgot to take the bin out.

Green and blue are every other week.

What if the toilet played ads at you based on the food you shit out, where you can't flush the toilet until it's finished?

We've been robbed this year. Yes, we had a cracking spring, but the moment the summer season began it was just terrible. And then as soon as it draws to an end, we have a heat wave!

I'm already looking forward to spring, the autumn / winter months are depressing.

Is there something specific about Germany where people don't use or have WiFi?

I had a team lead that did this. Never answered his call. He got absolutely slaughtered for it (amongst other things) in the retro after a while after some people had reached breaking point.

The team did a test and found that not enough people who were born on the 22nd bought anything and UX wanted to make the list shorter, so it got removed.

I wonder if they have a special rule to use dd/mm/yyyy on the 4th of July.

This is the first time I've seen it like this, and I've been using C# nearly daily for over 10 years!

It's been forecast rain and thunderstorms here today but we've had a few spots if rain and that's it!
