I would like to give apple credit for not rebranding USB Type-C and claiming they invented it.

Dont tell them what you make. If youre cool with the high end of their salary range tell them you make that amount or something close to it. If you come in extra high theyre going to think youre over qualified or youll leave the second something better comes along.

They wont hire you. Ask for the salary range. If your expected salary is beyond that range you likely wont get it.
