I'm black, and I loved Dragon Ball, and back in the late 90s early 2000s when it was airing on Cartoon Network it was pretty much popular with everyone.

I can't talk for everyone but the saiyan and Frieza arc in Dragon Ball z really stuck with me. Goku knew nothing about his family his people and their history. Then all of a sudden they show up and reck havoc on his life. Eventually he learns that his people were essentially enslaved and exported around the universe as babies to work for their slave owner Frieza, and when they started to organize they were wiped out. This arc ends with a final showdown between the Goku who now knows his history and the last of his race facing down the slave master Frieza who thought he was nothing but a monkey.

Silicone water bottles take up no space and travel well. Extra leg room seats in normal economy are usually narrower than normal seats due to the table and entertainment. Also no unseat storage, but it's less of a concern because once the flight is in air can just get your bag down.

I'm 190cm tall and 150kg. I just survived an 11hr flight on Turkish air boeing 777, following an 6hr flight on a Airbus a330 in economy on both. The Airbus was more comfortable. But Dramamine is your friend.

Pittsburgh has some of the worst drivers I've ever seen. Running red lights and waiting for yield signs to turn green is the norm there. I've seen at least 5 accidents caused by a Pittsburgher stopping at the end of an entrance ramp to a highway.

Unfortunately my car was finally sent to the body shop after 7 years dodging people, and 3 months from leaving the city by a lady who decided to make a left turn from the right lane. Luckily I always have a dashcam running, no one was hurt and the police wrote her a ticket. This lady was a high level Karen, and went ballistic when I asked if she was ok after she crashed into me. Best part was when her husband showed up 10mins later and apologized to me for his, "dumbass wife" who just knocked the mirrors off his truck.

Loll, his sacrifice was not in vain. I've still haven't seen the extended endings because I was satisfied with the original.

As a comic nerd I felt like I had brain damage after seeing origins in theaters. However, I do agree the major problem with the movie is the last act with "Deadpool" and the battle history was awesome. The video game based on the movie is awesome.

Mass effect for video games, Rebuild of Evangelion for movies, and Old Man war for Books. I know only mass effect is a trilogy (Andromeda doesn't exist) but I feel like all three stayed with me after finishing them, and the character development and plot lines all had satisfying conclusions.

I paid $1000 for books my first semester of college back in 2007. I felt so burnt and violated I never bought another textbook. I made it through the rest of undergrad, a masters, and a PhD in biochemistry by checking out books from the library, borrowing textbooks from friends, and going sailing. When I taught I made it a point to teach my students about all the ways they can avoid becoming a victim like myself.
