Yeah, he's going to ask for more. He'll need money for a plane ticket, and a train ticket to the airport, and his mom will find and take the money so he'll need more, and then he'll need to bribe someone along the way, and someone will rob him, and and and and and ...

I watched it last night and the way he was just like, "oh, nice use of ginger", "too much cilantro", and "I can fix this!!" was great! He wasn't focusing on the heat, he was focusing on the taste and it was great!

It may just be a character, but it's not a character I enjoy watching. I'd much rather watch Alton Brown or Kenji.

Alton Brown on “hot ones”

Thank you for this recommendation!

It's why they released news of the actual IPO on the same day they released the news of Google buying our data: they want to tie reddit and Google together in the public's mine, make reddit seem better than it is.

Yeah, and they gave the COO like another 93 million. Yet somehow we're the "landed gentry".

You know how spez was bitching about how reddit never made a profit? Yeah, now we know why. You know what his compensation was last year? $193,000,000. Fuck that arrogant prick.

In other news, spez's compensation from reddit last year was $193 million, and it's COO got a cool $93 million.

C'mon, spez, tell us again how horrible it's been that reddit's never made a profit.

wsb could introduce volatility

So they're already preparing an alibi if/when things tank. [The Google licensing thing changes things a bit and I haven't processed it quite yet.]

There's class A shares, with 1-to-1 voting rights, class B shares that you can trade 10-to-1 for class A shares with voting rights, and class C shares with no voting rights. They haven't said, but I'm sure they're only going to offer class C shares.
