I’m running Emby with 4k content from an Odroid HC-2. If you have a 4k TV it should support the H.265 codec without transcoding so the resources for sending videos is low.

  1. Join a private tracker
  2. Download torrent file
  3. Upload torrent file to qbt web gui, specify a path shared by your Jellyfin library
  4. Use Identify in Jellyfin if the file is not recognized by name

Yeah, I tend to think of it like FM radio. Give it a sample run, if you love it go back and buy it in high quality.

Not sure why this is downvoted. yt-dlp is a great way to get music from YouTube, bandcamp, or other sites.

With a torrent you’re downloading from many unknown peers, one of which could be a rights holder lawyer who will log your IP and send a threatening letter to your internet service provider. With Soulseek you are downloading from only one peer.

With a torrent you are downloading and uploading chunks at the same time. With Soulseek you have options about what you share for upload. If you were to get in trouble legally on Soulseek, it would probably be for what’s in your shared library, not for what you downloaded.

However, it’s not super polite to download from others without sharing. Some users block uploading to peers who aren’t sharing anything. My advice would be to go to your local library and find a few rare CDs of local music. Rip them to MP3 at a good bitrate and share them. Or maybe classical music? I’m not a lawyer, but just think of what music you can share where the artist or record label isn’t going to sue you. Independent and smaller record labels are probably not going to sue you.

How does that make it acceptable? I’ve had to do like 6 minutes of free labor in the past 10 years. Google owes me like $6-10 for that bullshit.

Amazing. I wonder how well it could work in reverse: generating an accurate caption for any image, including graphs and charts. Could be useful for visually impaired and accessibility.

https://rootmy.tv

Newer versions of WebOS may not be able to be rooted, but there are a few methods.

I got an LG OLED (GX), with plans to get an AppleTV. However WebOS worked well enough, and it is even better when rooted. I can watch YouTube ad-free and Emby. I don’t use too much else.

Campground with three-walled shelters with twin bunk beds around the perimeter. It should also have potable water, electrical outlets, flush toilets, hot showers, laundry, and trash service. The showers and laundry could be funded by dollar coins. Any resident or camper can earn dollar coins (no paperwork required), by doing work (litter collection, landscaping, cleaning bathrooms, roll call, etc). There should also be lockers to secure belongings. It should be near transit and with plenty of secure bicycle parking.

Sharing your life with somebody requires a lot of flexibility and compromise. The longer you spend alone, pretending to know which traits you want in a partner, the less likely you’ll ever be able to find a real partner. Or if you find one, she won’t like you very much. It takes practice and patience to get good at sharing your life with somebody.

Your best bet is to murder your waifu, and embrace the loneliness to motivate you to find something more meaningful.
