Similar except for a few minor details. I have jackett in the stack too. I have wireguard instead of tailscale. Debian on the host. No zfs, just a bunch of disks. The whole torrent stack is on the vpn so metadata requests don't go out via my ip. I limit the vpn countries to non 14 eyes countries. I change the vpn country every time the vpn container comes up. I use vuetorrent as the qbittorrent webui.

Throwback to this gem.

Nice one OP. Just had sonar pick up one of these today named like a proper release of a trusted group. Sonarr didn't move it from qbit but better to not DL it in the first place even though its a linux box

They should just release torrents of the releases and that way even if there is a takedown the community keeps seeding.

I have a hacked ps3,Wii and xbox original. I would only consider a hacked console going forward. The experience is just way better. But these days I just use steam with the steamdeck to support Linux and play my roms in emudeck.

I Normally just leave them as they are when i downloaded them and chuck them in a folder on my server which I can pull down on any device when I need them.

I usually opt for 720p for movies and SD for shows. They're good enough for me and I can store way more. The other thing is the devices and screens are dated now so at some point in the future I'll probably want to get it all again at better quality but for now it does the job.

Not sure what works best in your case. I'm a Debian cat myself but I have been considering openbsd as a future option.
